The Japanese government estimated that a ballistic missile launched by North Korea today passed through the Japanese archipelago and fell into the Pacific Ocean.
The Chief Cabinet Secretary, Hirokazu Matsuno, said this in an emergency press conference following the North Korean missile launch this morning.
Minister Matsuno criticized North Korea’s ballistic missile launch as a violation of UN Security Council sanctions against North Korea, and in particular, the trip through the Japanese archipelago was an act that threatened the safety of Japanese residents.
