A drunk taxi driver was caught by the police after hitting a taxi driver and a group of people sitting next to him late at night.
A taxi driver made a rescue request to a passing patrol car, and the dizzying situation was captured in the video secured by YTN.

On the night of the 1st, he was in a taxi in Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk.
A man and a woman in a taxi are having a conversation in the back seat.
[택시 폭행 가해자 : (거기 밑에서 내려서 걸어갈까?) XX 내가 다리가 아픈데, 아파 죽겠는데.]
Then, a man who is still at fault saying that the way he is going is strange, suddenly curses as if he were drunk and attacks the woman who is riding with him.
[택시 폭행 가해자 : 택시 타면 바로 우리 집 가잖아. 근데 왜 뱅뱅 도느냐고 XXX야. 여기다 내려줘.]
A woman screams at the man’s kick and goes to the police station.
Sparks are now bouncing at taxi drivers.
[택시 폭행 가해자 : XXX야. 너 누구야? 너 XX이냐? (택시 기사요, 택시 기사.)]
The crying continued, but the attack continued.
[폭행 피해 여성 : 아저씨 파출소 가요! 아저씨 파출소 가요!]
The driver and the woman barely escaped danger by calling a patrol car to rescue him near the police station.
[택시 기사 : 여기 차에서 구타하고 있어요, 구타하고 있다고요! (구타요?) 네, 저도 맞고 여자 손님도 피나고 난리예요.]
An indiscriminate attack that lasted more than 10 minutes.
The taxi driver is in hospital and receiving treatment.
[택시 기사 : 앞도 컴컴하고 그냥 멍한 상태에서 뭐에 홀린 듯이 ‘경찰한테 가야 내가 살겠다’ 이런 생각만 드니까…. 당시에는 다른 아무 생각도 없고.]
The offender said during the police investigation to that effect that he was drunk and did not remember.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, including the relationship between the two passengers.
If you assault the driver of a moving car, including a taxi, special laws apply.
Injuring someone is a serious offense punishable by imprisonment for a period of 3 years or more, but there are few cases that lead to an arrest investigation.
