In today’s plenary session of the three opposition parties, they are submitting a request for a state investigation to find out the truth about the Itaewon disaster, right?

[기자]

Yes, the request for a national investigation by the three opposition parties will be reported to the full meeting which is to be held at 2 pm today.

After the request has been reported, National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo will proceed with subsequent procedures such as the formation of an investigative committee with representatives of the negotiating groups.

Negotiating groups that refuse to participate in this process may be excluded.

The People’s Power, the ruling party, opposes the non-mandatory state inquiry, saying it will interfere with the investigation and will only cause political strife.

However, if they do not participate until the end, they put pressure on the ruling party to proceed with a state investigation even from the opposition alone.

In today’s plenary, a resolution condemning North Korea’s ballistic missiles is due to be resolved.

In addition, the Special Committee on Budget and Settlement of the National Assembly will start reviewing next year’s budget from the Ministry of Economy from today.

Yes, the Democratic Party will hold a press conference related to the search and seizure of the prosecution at 10:30 a little later and will continue to fight against public opinion to change the situation.

The Democratic Party strongly protests that the prosecution staged a political show with the government when the government was put in crisis due to the Itaewon disaster.

In addition, the prosecution seized computer log records and shredded memo papers that had nothing to do with the allegations of bribery by Chief Jung, and noted that even the search and seizure was a disgrace have failed

On the other hand, the power of the people is increasing the level of criticism aimed at President Lee Jae-myung, saying that he is the body of doubt.

The prosecution carried out a search and seizure yesterday, along with the home of Director Jeong Jin-sang, the office of the secretary of the Democratic Party and the office of the representative secretary of the party in the main building of the National Assembly.

So far, it has been communicated to the National Assembly.
