This unmissable event took place in strict compliance with health regulations. Initially scheduled in Gravier, the event was finally repatriated to Florida premises due to bad weather.

Audience at the rendezvous

For this third edition of the Florida Beatbox Battle, the audience was numerous. All ages participated in this competition, although it is true that 15-30 was undoubtedly the most represented in the audience. This party, postponed due to the Coronavirus but nevertheless maintained, has put a bit of balm in the hearts in this difficult period on a cultural level. Wearing a mask was mandatory and the microphones were regularly disinfected. What is Beatboxing? It consists of making music by imitating musical instruments, including percussion, only with the mouth.

The success of this festival, followed far beyond Agen through Youtube channels watched by millions of people around the world, can undoubtedly be explained by the considerable level of participants.

Agen identified

Talents from all over the world meet in the city of Agen, which is one of the cities in the process of identifying with this new kind of practice, to face it. After a mini-battle last Thursday open to all nationalities and all ages, the Florida Beatbox allowed the different talents to compete.

Among the competitors: the Belgian FootboxG, the Portuguese Jewow, the German Friidon or the French River (champion of the Florida Beatbox Festival in 2019).
