Doha: The grandson of Brazilian assistant coach Adinor Leonardo Bakshi got a precious gift for the Palestinian citizen.
The incident, which went viral on social media, is happy news for the Qatar Football World Cup. After the match between Brazil and Serbia on the 24th, a photo of Hussam Saffarini carrying a sleeping child on his shoulder went viral.
Hussam was identified by wearing a Palestinian flag. Hussam didn’t realize he was helping the Brazilian coach’s family.
In the press conference, Bakshi revealed that he is interested in meeting the man who helped his family and it is proof of how to love football. Hussam was soon recognized. The Brazilian team received Hussam Saffarini with a shirt signed by all 26 members of the team.
