A shocking decision before the World Cup; BCCI replaced the coach

Former India player Ramesh Pawar has been replaced by the BCCI as the head coach of the Indian women’s team. It was also decided to send the player to the National Cricket Academy.

The actor will be responsible for the spin bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy. Hrishikesh Kanitkar has been appointed as the team’s new batting coach.

BCCI has not appointed anyone to replace Pawar as head coach.

Pawar will be appointed as the coach of the Indian women’s team in May 2021. Even after the team was knocked out in the group stage of the earlier 50-over World Cup, the BCCI appointed Pawar himself as the coach.

Under Pawar, the Indian women’s team reached the final stage of the Commonwealth Games and won the Asia Cup.
