A shocking decision before the World Cup; BCCI replaced the coach
Former India player Ramesh Pawar has been replaced by the BCCI as the head coach of the Indian women’s team. It was also decided to send the player to the National Cricket Academy.
The actor will be responsible for the spin bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy. Hrishikesh Kanitkar has been appointed as the team’s new batting coach.
ICC It is also worth noting that the BCCI is making this important decision when the Women’s T20 World Cup is only two months away. The World Cup will start on February 10 next year.
BCCI has not appointed anyone to replace Pawar as head coach.
The India-Australia series is also underway from December 9. The series is being held as a practice match before the upcoming World Cup. There are five T20s in the series.
Pawar will be appointed as the coach of the Indian women’s team in May 2021. Even after the team was knocked out in the group stage of the earlier 50-over World Cup, the BCCI appointed Pawar himself as the coach.
Under Pawar, the Indian women’s team reached the final stage of the Commonwealth Games and won the Asia Cup.
