Ahn Jae-wook to Kim Sun-ah, “You killed Joo Se-bin” (D-EMPIRE)

Ahn Jae-wook of ‘The Empire: Empire of Law’ pointed to Kim Sun-ah as the criminal who killed Joo Se-bin.

In JTBC’s Saturday drama ‘The Empire: The Empire of Law’, which aired on the 13th, Han Hye-ryul (Kim Sun-ah) was portrayed as being shocked by her son, Han Kang-baek (Kwon Ji – woo).

Han Hye-ryul remembered a conversation with Hong Nan-hee (Joo Se-bin) in the past. Han Hye-ryul said to Hong Nan-hee, “I gave you enough chances. Even if my insides are torn apart so that only Kang Baek-i won’t be hurt. Why do I have to look at you more? Are you satisfied now? Or what else can I do?” he asked.

In response, Hong Nan-hee said, “It’s not like Kang Baek and I dated. I’ve never been with just a friend. I pretended to be dating because Kang Baek-i asked me to. That way, I think I won’t be able to get married at home.”

When Han Hye-ryul said, “You really are a monster,” Hong Nan-hee said, “What kind of monster would I be? I don’t even have the strength to do that. Manager, you don’t care at all what you did to the subcontractors, do you? You don’t know and don’t want to know, do you?”

When Han Hye-ryul said, “What nonsense are you talking about even touching my husband and son?” I wasn’t the one who talked to Baek Kang. Someone sent me a picture. A picture of me and my teacher. It’s a picture I don’t know when it was taken.”

Meanwhile, Na Geun-woo (Ahn Jae-wook) received a USB from Lee Ah-jeong (Kwon So-yi). That was the use that Hong Nan-hee entrusted to her during her lifetime. Lee Ah-jung said, “Nan-hee was sincere.”

Later, Na Geun-woo, who went home, was criticized by Han Hye-ryul, saying, “Even if you didn’t meet Hong Nan-hee, you didn’t exist.” In response, Na Geun-woo said, “Kang Baek-i is dead. I died trying to protect you, but you still want to blame me? Hong Nan-hee, you killed him.”

Han Hye-ryul said, “I’m not. When he said, “I didn’t kill Hong Nan-hee,” Na Geun-woo didn’t believe him, saying, “Then you mean Kang-baek lied?” When Han Hye-ryul, embarrassed, could not continue saying, “I want to protect Kang Baek,” Na Geun-woo said, “Lying until the end. Therefore, the fake culprit must have been established as well. I guess it can’t be helped that blood flows in this family,” he said and left the house.

‘The Empire: Empire of Law’ is a drama that depicts the scandal of the fall of the rich and the life of hypocrisy and lust kept in the iron castle built by the law, and the revelation of their secrets. It is broadcast every day Saturday and Sunday at 10:30pm.
