New Delhi ∙ The Delhi High Court has banned the unauthorized use of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan’s voice, name and image. The interim order is on the plea filed by the actor.
Bachchan had said in the petition that his name has been misused, including that of the person who cheated more than 100 people in the name of ‘Kon Banega Crorepati (KBC)’ lottery ticket. The court ruled that Bachchan’s reputation was being misused without his consent. The court also directed the telecom companies to take action against websites that use his voice illegally. The hearing of the petition was adjourned until next year.
Ram Janmabhoomi: Need to give a voice in the film
NEW DELHI: The temple construction committee has said that Amitabh Bachchan has been approached to lend his voice in a film describing the history of Ram Janmabhoomi.
