Riyadh: Social education activist Ibrahim Subhan said that parents should strengthen their relationship with their children and that children can be freed from the exploitation of the drug mafia only through loving friendship between parents and children. He was starting an anti-drug campaign under the auspices of the Perinthalmanna Pravasi (Papa) Society called ‘Athijivanam’ at the Safamaka Auditorium in Batha. Chairman of the Zubair Kunju Foundation and Convener of ‘Riza’ Dr. Abdul Aziz delivered the keynote address. He said that the society should pay a lot of attention to the teenagers and that the society should give them awareness before they become addicted to drugs.

It was also remembered that the public and the government should plan and implement various plans together to make society aware of the uncontrolled increase in the use of drugs. A short film was also shown as part of awareness. PAPA General Secretary Shihab Mannarmala presided. Inaugurated by President Muhammad Ali. KMCC Central Committee Secretary Shahid, Culture Committee Member Keli KT Basheer, OICC Central Committee Treasurer Nawaz Velimatkunn, Riyadh Media Forum Treasurer Jalil Alappuzha, Yahya Safa Makkah and Muhammad Ali Kunnapalli spoke. Dr. Abdul Aziz answered various questions from the audience. Rafiq Poopalam, Vice President of PAP, welcomed and Mujeeb, the Treasurer, gave the vote of thanks.
