The new Royal Oak Offshore is designed to celebrate the long friendship between Audemars Piguet and music. It features an equalizer-motif “tapestry” dial, a grooved plot reminiscent of a jackhole, and a crown guard reminiscent of a mixer fader. The self-winding model uses sapphire glass that displays hours, minutes, and seconds and is curved in the 6 o’clock / 12 o’clock direction, and many wide chamfers can be seen. The 37mm model incorporates the same size Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph design with wide chamfers and curved glass similar to the 43mm. The colorful equalizer motif shines in a spacious space without the date window. Combined with a “mosaic-processed” blue rubber replaceable strap that matches the color of the dial. This is the first time that the interchangeable strap system introduced in 2021 will be used in the 37mm model of the Royal Oak Offshore Collection. The angle of the cut surface of the stone is devised to bring out the maximum reflection, and the size of the stone is very small (0,65 mm on the dial), but it is balanced so that the color can be seen to the maximum. This technique can also hide the narrow grooves needed for the invisible set of dials. This unusual invisible set allows for a lighter setting (less than 0.85 mm on the dial). The ⟪harmony⟫cut was also used for the bezel set to further enhance the sparkling light on the dial.

Two self-winding new calibers
The two 37 mm models are equipped with the new caliber 5909. This is the first time that a self-winding movement that displays hours, minutes, and seconds has been installed in this size. The caliber 5909 was developed based on the caliber 5900 used in the 37 mm Royal Oak launched by Audemars Piguet in 2022. Replacing the caliber 3120, this movement is thinner (4,26 mm to 3.9 mm) and has a higher frequency (3 Hz to 4 Hz). In addition, the power reserve has been extended to about 60 hours.
The 43 mm model is equipped with the caliber 4309. The latest self-winding movement with hour, minute and second display developed by the Manufacture, the spacious size improves the timekeeping accuracy and the power reserve is about 70 hours.
