Some days there is nothing better than sitting on the couch, putting on a trash film and tucking into a jar of Ben & jerry’s ice cream.
But if you’re like us, you may find that the pot empties far too quickly.
Well, it looks like we don’t have to fix this anymore.
That’s because savvy buyers have discovered that you can now buy huge 4.5-liter containers of frozen treats, as opposed to the 465-ml containers sold in supermarkets.
And the best part about it is that bathtubs don’t cost a fortune – in fact, they’re a bargain compared to the smaller ones!
According to HotUKDeals, you can get a giant bath from Ben & Jerry’s from Heron Foods for just £ 3.50.
Heron Foods is owned by B&M, so it’s likely you can also find a similar offer in their stores.
A cookie dough tub, almost 10 times larger than what we are used to, was recently spotted at Heron Foods’ Walsgrave branch in Coventry.
And don’t worry if you’re not a Cookie Dough fan, people have also come across large vats of Baked Alaska.
It is believed that these size tanks are generally only sold in cinemas and other areas of catering – so this seems to be a fairly rare find.
People on social media were delighted with the discovery.
One person called it a “millennium deal,” while another said she planned to drive 35 miles to her nearest Heron Foods store to get it.
Others joked that they had to make room in their freezer for ice cream in.
A Heron Foods spokesperson told Mirror Online: “I can confirm that we sell these jars in all Heron Foods stores, but as you can see, they stole from the shelves because everyone has become crazy for them!
“We are unable to say exactly what stock is left, but we advise buyers to make sure there is no shortage!”
They added: “Look at this space … there are other incredible offers of ice cream coming this way and we are confident they will fly as fast as the Ben & Jerrys!”
