Ah, revisionist history. The cornerstone of every hockey fan. The coulda, shoulda, wouldas inducing rabies. Basically, we all like to complain. Sports enthusiasts are bellyachers by nature.

And there is no bigger thing that could have been than those accompanying the project. When an NHL general manager trades, we rarely know what was available, who else he could have acquired or why he bought or sold at the price he made. But we know the draft results. It’s as simple as taking the guy who gets better than the guy you actually took. Right? Right!? Right!?!?
