Kia Motors’ Gwangju plant produces about 2,000 vehicles a day, but as storage places in the factory, the shipping area of the Pyeongdong Industrial Complex, and the temporary storage yard in Jangseong, Jeollanam-do, etc. were saturated, the vehicles were stored in the outdoor music hall of Gwangju City Hall as a workaround.
These vehicles are to be exported overseas, but they cannot be transported to the port of Mokpo due to the prolonged strike by the cargo solidarity.
