Danny Loader looks set to leave Reading 12 months after move Wolverhampton Wanderers fell across.
The talented forward almost joined the Wolves on the transfer deadline last summer only for the Royals to cancel the move to death.
He has barely played since returning to Reading, making only seven Championship appearances this season, including six as a replacement.
The 19-year-old was also linked to Manchester United and should now be available in July.
Loader has been offered a new long-term contract by Reading, but has so far rejected all of their advances. He is available for their next two games with Derby County and Brentford but becomes a free agent on July 1.
A book club statement said: “The offer of a longer-term contract remains on the table for Danny if he wishes to continue representing the Royals for the six remaining games this season and continue to progress in his RG2 career beyond the end of the 2019-2020 campaign. ”
Reading will be entitled to compensation for Loader if he remains in England this summer. In addition to the Wolves, Man United and a number of other Premier League and championship clubs would also be interested.
