Confront Corona, India Opens Largest Hospital Project in the World

Government India claim to be building one hospital (RS) with the largest capacity in the world to deal with the Corona COVID-19 virus outbreak. On Sunday (6/28/2020), some facilities at the Sardar Patel COVID Care Center were reported to have started operating.

India’s Housing Minister, Amit Shah, said Sardar Patel COVID Care Center will have 10 thousand patient beds. As many as 2,000 beds can be used while another 8,000 will follow in the next few days.

“This facility will greatly help alleviate the suffering of citizens in Delhi,” Amit said via social media Twitter as quoted from CNN, Monday (6/29/2020).

According to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, India is currently a country with a number of cases Corona virus fourth largest in the world. Recent reports say India has 19,906 new infections, bringing the total to 528,859 cases.

Of this number as many as 16,095 patients died and 309,713 others successfully recovered.
