Credit Union Golf Scramble raises $ 11,000

The Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas, the charitable arm of the Credit Union Association of the Dakotas, raised nearly $ 11,000 through its fourth annual Golf Scramble fundraiser on August 21 at Jamestown Country Club in Jamestown. Funds raised through the participation of 56 golfers and event sponsors support the CUFD’s ongoing work.

The CUFD will use the money to raise community awareness of Dakota credit unions through support for children’s charities, social and community impact organizations or projects, financial education and financial literacy programs, and to provide scholarships for higher education throughout North Dakota and South Dakota. Most recently, the CUFD awarded $ 10,000 in scholarships to area students.
