It’s another manic Monday, so you know what time it is – it’s time to dig deep and find some streamers. Today is a tough day for streamer throwers, so we’re going to start with an initial Rangers streak. We will also pair a couple of Yankees and Marlins in good matches.
When I choose my daily batter streamers, I look at their platoon divisions, formation position, and pitch match. With pitchers, I take into account the opposing lineup, the team’s baseball stadium, and recent performance to help make my decision.
Each of my streamers will be in between 0 and 40% of Yahoo’s leagues, with a mixed focus on both superficial and deeper formats. Today I’ll be providing a streamer for each position, including two starting pitchers. Let’s take a look at the Monday list and hunt down some streamer gems to help you start the week with a bang!

Hitter Streamers for 9/21 – Infielders
Asdrubal Cabrera (1B / 2B / 3B, WAS) against PHI – 16% Rostered
It looks like Cabrera is starting to get hot, as he has gone 10 of 33 (.303) with five runs, three homers and seven RBIs in his last seven games. Even though he has a tough match against RHP Zach Wheeler, this is a hitter who could be at the start of a nice stretch, so we’re going to pass it on here.
Miguel Rojas (SS, MIA) @ ATL – 12% Rostered
Rojas has been swinging the bat well lately, going 9 of 28 (.321) with seven points, two homers and five RBIs in his last eight games. He has a decent matchup against RHP Josh Tomlin, who has recorded a 4.84 ERA and a 9.6 SwStr% in 35.1 innings this season.
Garrett Cooper (1B / OF, MIA) @ ATL – 10% Rostered
Cooper has been a nice source of power lately, going 7 of 20 (.350) with seven runs, two homers and five RBIs in his last six games. Cooper has been a fixture in the three holes, so he’s a good option as a low-roster player hitting the heart of the Marlins lineup.
Daniel Vogelbach (1B, MIL) @ CIN – 2% Rostered
We are digging deep with this stream, as Vogelbach is available in almost all leagues. He only plays against the righties and here he faces RHP fighter Anthony DeSclafani. Vogelbach has gone 8 of 17 (.471) with six runs, three homers and nine RBI in his last four games.
Hitter Streamers for 9/21 – Outfielders
Brett Gardner (OF, NYY) – 25% Rostered
Gardner has been sizzling lately, going 9 of 21 (.423) with seven runs, two homers and five RBI in his last seven games. The Blue Jays starter hasn’t been released yet, but we’ll continue with Gardner hitting in the band box which is Sahlen Field. We need to take advantage of this troubled launch staff right now with a red-hot Yankee lineup share.
Aaron Hicks (OF, NYY) – 9% Rostered
Hicks makes a nice pair with Gardner hitting in this Yankee formation on a favorable baseball field. Hicks has gone 6 of 23 (.261) with six points, a home run and an RBI in his last six games. It is mostly hit in the three holes, which is a great place to be in one of baseball’s hottest formations.
Tyler O’Neill (OF, STL) @ KC – 3% Rostered
O’Neill has been showing power and speed lately, with two home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base in his last seven games. Take on the Royals in what should be a bullpen game, as likely RHP starter Carlos Hernandez has pitched between two and three innings in each of his three appearances this season. The Royals bullpen has nothing to fear.
Pitcher Streamer for 9/21
Kyle Gibson (RHP, TEX) @ LAA – 10% Rostered
Gibson is the best streamer pitcher for tomorrow, coming out of a dominant and complete close against the Astros, where he walked three times and scored nine. While he was wrestling prior to that start, allowing five or more runs in four of his previous five rounds, this is a whirlwind pitcher that we must lead against the Angels. Simply put, it’s a tough time of year to stream the launch and Gibson is the best of the bunch.
