It’s Guice’s fault.
Sports writers hit the Washington Redskins while running against Derrius Guice after being photographed living their best life in Miami amid the coronavirus epidemic in the United States.
While America bunkers, the 22-year-old woman backed up with six women on a boat and definitely maintained no difference of 1.5 m from one of them.
“I know that many young athletes should not be held to standards that we don’t even stick to,” tweeted reporter Mike Wise. “But can someone contact Derrius Guice and tell him not only how silly he looks here, but how insensitive he is to the victims of # Covid_19?”
“If you’re going to do something like this, why put it on social media? You’re just going to be dragged, called and looked down,” added Barstool Sports.
“I understand wanting to have cheeks before the world ends, but just keep it offline. Like, yeah, we know dude, you’re young and rich. What is the benefit of posting it on social media? “
In a tweet since deleted, Guice appeared to respond to criticism by tweeting, “10 people is the rule.”
Guice will look to revive an injury-interrupted career if the NFL resumes later this year. The LSU product missed its rookie season with a torn ACL and only played in five games last season after further knee injuries.
If he is looking for role models, he could do worse than these good citizens who caught up on a beer this week but kept the gap.
OJ SIMPSON PLEA GOLF COURSE
Another ball carrier, former star OJ Simpson, is concerned that he won’t be able to play golf for a while.
Simpson – who was acquitted in 1995 of the murder of ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman in the infamous case which became known as “The Trial of the Century” – said that one of the grounds for the golf course he was playing on Wednesday was closing due to the coronavirus epidemic, and he didn’t seem too happy about it.
“I sort of understand what the golf course does,” he said. “I’m not going to criticize them. But you know, you guys let your own golf cart. You tell them not to, you know, remove the pin, I guess you don’t hit the pin. not really approach each other on a golf course.
“I think for some of the older guys, golf is their only exercise, I think it will hurt them, if you start closing all the golf courses.”
72-year-old Simpson – who then served nine years in prison for theft and kidnapping for trying to steal some of his sports memories from a Las Vegas hotel room – said he would lose his mind if he couldn’t play golf for an extended period.
“And if you close them, you’d better open a lunatic asylum.” Get me a bib. I know if I can’t play golf next month, I’m going to go crazy.
“I say it like that. Take care of yourself.”
