Al kaline, the legendary gardener of the Detroit Tigers, passed away this Monday, April 6. The cause of his death has not yet been confirmed.

Kaline He was a 10-time Gold Glove winner and an 18-time All-Star during the 22 seasons he played with the Detroit Tigers.

Kaline He was the 12th member to join the prestigious 3,000 hit club and was the second player in the Detroit Tigers in doing so, only after the also legendary Ty Cobb.
Al Kaline, whose full name was Albert William Kaline, he played as a right fielder and led the Detroit Tigers to a World Series championship in 1968. He had 3,007 career hits with a .297 batting average before retiring in 1974.
“I owe everything to baseball,” he said. Kaline, according to the Baseball Hall of Fame. “Without that, I would probably be a bum.”
