Director Matt Reeves confirmed that Robert Pattinson Batman was inspired by Kurt Cobain

In a recent interview, “Batman The Batman” director Matt Reeves confirmed that Robert Pattinson’s Batman/Bruce Wayne was inspired by Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain.

Matt Reeves explained in an interview with Empire that he decided to focus on the other side of Bruce Wayne. When he was creating the first act while listening to Nirvana’s “Something In The Way”, which was shown in the first trailer of the movie, he said: ” It occurred to me at the time that instead of letting Bruce Wayne become the version of Playboy I have seen before, there is another version where he became a recluse after experiencing a huge tragedy. So I started to associate this relationship with Gus Van Sant’s Last Days “And the fictional version of Kurt Cobain connects with ideas in this decadent manor.”

He added that Robert Pattinson’s appearance in Safdie Brothers’ “Good Time” caught his attention. He said: “In that movie, you can feel his fragility and despair strongly, but you can also feel his power. I think this is a good combination. He also has Kurt Cobain’s part. He looks like a rock star, but you also think he may be a recluse.” In addition, Robert Pattinson also revealed that Bruce will be different from Christopher Nolan’s version. He He won’t get help from his assistant Lucius Fox: “Bruce has been hiding in hiding, he is not a social master at all.
