In the continuing saga which is the status of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, there has been another change. You may remember that on June 21, we broke the list and the reopening dates for the remaining Walt Disney World Resorts, and Jambo House has been included and is expected to reopen on July 10.
Then on June 25, there was an update that removed Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Jambo House from the list of stations that would open, without date indicated. At this point, Jambo House then joined the Disney resorts (movies, music and sports), Disney’s Port Orleans Resort (French Quarter & Riverside) and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge as having neither a scheduled reopening date nor availability for 2021.
Well, today we bring you a new update that Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Jambo House will say “Jambo” to Disney Vacation Club guests only from July 10, date of the complex’s initial reopening.
However, there are some important details about the reopening. Apart from the guests who can use the recording area and the pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, nothing else on this side of the complex will be open.
What does it mean? If you want to shop, dine or use any of the resort amenities, you will need to walk or take the resort’s free shuttle to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village.
Of course, follow us at WDWNT as we continue to cover the reopening of Disney parks around the world.
