Euronews officially launches its Georgian franchise this Wednesday. Since 1 September, the Tbilisi-based news channel offers viewers local, regional and international news programs in Georgian around the clock. The team consists of 80 news professionals.
A platform entirely dedicated to social networks, #TheCube has also been integrated into the editorial staff, to allow journalists to analyze the information disseminated online. It will also be possible to carry out fact-checking, commonly referred to as “fact-checking”.
Like its parent company, Euronews Georgia aims to provide viewers with the means to form their own opinion, offering a diversity of points of view, in an impartial manner.
After the creation of Euronews Albania and Euronews Georgia, the Euronews Serbia franchise will be launched by the end of 2020.
