FIFA World Cup 2022: Today’s FIFA World Cup quarter-finals. Former world champions Spain will face Morocco. Switzerland are the opponents of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in the last World Cup. Check out the competition details.

Spain – Morocco

Spain reached the pre-quarters as the second team in Group E after losing to Japan. Spain will also be aiming to reverse their embarrassing exit in the pre-quarters last time out. But due to the strength of the defensive line, Morocco comes undefeated. Morocco also showed the way out of Belgium. Morocco’s strategy will be strong against Spain.

Spain’s hope lies in the performance of the young players. Spain has a long line of stars such as Alvaro Morata, Gavi, Pedri and Asensio. All of them have already found their place in world football. The two teams have met three times so far. Spain won two and drew one.

The match will be played at the Education City Stadium at 8:30 pm IST.

Portugal – Switzerland

The Portuguese team and fans are going through a difficult time. Because Cristiano Ronaldo has won the whole team. The team’s disadvantage is the form of the player who went to the last World Cup. Ronaldo is unable to create chances or score the ones he gets. Ronaldo did not play full-time in all three group stage matches.

The hopes of the coach Fernando Santos will be in the ranks of the youth such as Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva and Jao Felix. If Ronaldo finds his rhythm, he will be an asset. Portugal have only reached the quarter-finals in the 1966 and 2006 World Cups. Switzerland’s only loss was against Brazil in the group stage.

The match will be played at Lucille Stadium at 12.30 am IST.
