Ahmed Refaat, the Alexandrian club’s wing, spoke about his suffering period in Zamalek, in which he refrained from participating.

“I was exposed to strange things inside the Zamalek club that I do not want to talk about because I am completely away from the problems to achieve my goals in my career,” Rifaat said in comments to On Time Sport.

“It suffices to say that I sometimes scored goals and won the man of the match, so I find myself outside the next match list. I swear that this happened to me.”

“To reach the stage of participation, I have to train well. I was participating in the games because I was already training well, but as I said I was sometimes logging in and punished by going out of the list immediately after,” I raised.

As for whether his career was affected by the love of Mortada Mansour, the club’s president, he said, “Yes. First, you must know that it is not true because Mortada puts the formation of matches or something as it is said, otherwise I would play because he loves me.”

“Once, Nebusha Jovovich, the former coach of Zamalek, I was not fully participating. Then Nebusha put my name on the next match list. On the same day, Mortada Mansour was asked in one of the programs about the possibility of my departure from the club because I did not participate as one (I was raised, he will not participate but perhaps Nebusha who goes) “.

He continued, “The next day, Nebusha decided to leave the list. At that time, I understood that he wanted to prove that he was the one who got the word, and that I left because of the president’s statement.”

Ahmed Refaat joined the club Zamalek 2015/2016 season coming from the ranks of Enppi.

Refaat participated with Zamalek in 26 games in total. He scored four goals and made three others.

The 26-year-old plays this season on loan to Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club. He participated in 15 games, scored four goals along with making six others.
