ALRAYAN, Qatar (Reuters) – Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez has been angered by the actions of Argentina forward Lionel Messi at the World Cup in Qatar.

Argentina will face Mexico in Group C on the 26th. They won 2-0 with Messi’s goal. Pictures from the locker room after the game showed Messi offensively pushing a Mexican shirt with his foot.

“Did you see Messi mopping the floor with our country’s shirt and flag?” Alvarez tweeted on Sunday. “Should pray to God I won’t find him,” he wrote, adding two fists, an angry expression and a fire emoji.

Alvarez’s Twitter account has 2.2 million followers.
