(Reuters) – South African golfer Dylan Frittelli will miss the Rocket Mortgage Classic this week at the Detroit Golf Club after being tested positive for COVID-19, the PGA Tour said.

Frittelli, who missed the Connecticut travelers’ cup, is the fourth golfer to be positive since picking up the elite from the US Tour on June 11.

“I have no problems and I feel good physically and I was surprised and disappointed to learn the positive test,” said Frittelli, adding that he would experience a period of self-isolation.

“I look forward to returning to the Tour once it is secure,” he said.

The PGA Tour said in a statement here that he had followed up on contacts after Frittelli returned the positive, but did not recommend further testing at this time.
