Marcin Piaseczny will join Hamburg-based beverage maker Fritz-Kola as its new Marketing Director in the first quarter of 2027, according to an announcement from the company. Piaseczny transitions to the role from Bahlsen, where he most recently served as Global Director overseeing brands such as Leibniz, Krakuski, and Rawbite. His career background also includes marketing positions at major family-owned consumer goods companies including Haribo and Ferrero. At Bahlsen, his responsibilities included serving as Marketing Director for the DACH region and the Leibniz brand.
Strategic Growth and International Expansion Goals
The executive appointment arrives as Fritz-Kola implements a broader strategy for its home market and international territories following the September 1, 2026 launch of its “Why not?” campaign across Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.
Fritz-Kola Managing Director Florian Weins stated, We have taken our time with this appointment and opted not for the fastest solution, but for the right one. Marcin brings strategic instinct for brands, a strong understanding of people and teams, and plenty of international experience.
Weins added that this combination is necessary to strengthen the brand’s position domestically while expanding across Europe.
Company Background and Leadership Perspectives
Fritz-Kola was founded in Hamburg in 2002 by Mirco Wolf Wiegert, bringing its first kola beverage to market in 2003. The company’s product portfolio now includes various lemonades and spritzers distributed largely in glass returnable bottles alongside sustainability initiatives like “Pfand gehört daneben.” In June 2026, the beverage manufacturer relocated its corporate headquarters within Hamburg.
Managing Director Mirco Wolf Wiegert noted the timing of the hire, stating, We have given our brand a new strategic framework and made the first step visible with ‘Why not?’. With Marcin, someone is now joining us who has a lot of experience in leading large brands into the next phase,
.
Regarding his upcoming transition, Piaseczny stated, I am particularly attracted by the combination of an extraordinary brand with a lot of history and a team that still has a lot planned,
