Gold prices in Egypt continued to rise for the second day in a row, as the gram price increased by 5 pounds per day, compared to yesterday’s prices.
Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold price today is 755 pounds, compared to 750 pounds per gram, yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold today reached 647 pounds, 24 carats to 863 pounds, and gold pounds to 6040 pounds.
Globally, gold reached its highest level in more than three weeks today, as relations between China and the United States take a turn for the worse, and investors are concerned that the global economy will take longer than expected to recover from the decline caused by the Corona virus.
And gold gained in immediate transactions 0.4% to $ 1735.67 an ounce by 0616 GMT, after touching earlier its highest levels since April 23 at 1737.50 dollars. US gold futures rose 0.3% to $ 1746.20.
