Health University Football; Complaint that medical college beat Ayurveda college defeated dental college

Alappuzha: It was complained that members of the Alappuzha Medical College team beat the Thiruvananthapuram Ayurveda College team during the football match organized by the Health University. The matches were held on November 1 at the Alappuzha Medical College ground.

Thiruvananthapuram Govt said that after the last match, Alappuzha Medical College team members came to beat them. Ayurveda College Union Chairman Vishwanath responded to News18. The final match was held between Ayurvedic and Dental Colleges. The game was a draw and the Dental College won the tie.

But the complaint is that the Alappuzha Medical College team members were beaten up after the match by the Ayurveda College team members. In the semi-final match, Thiruvananthapuram Ayurveda College defeated Alappuzha Medical College team.

Around 20 students are being treated in hospital as a result of the attack. One person was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at Alappuzha Medical College Trauma ICU. Ayurveda College team has filed a complaint at Punnapra Police Station. According to the complaint, the Alappuzha Medical College goalkeeper took off his clothes and put on a show.

The Ayurveda College Union has demanded that the students of Alappuzha Medical College who were beaten be suspended and the football team should be banned. The college unions and SFI unit committees of Thiruvananthapuram Govt, Deintral College and Ayurveda College protested against the beating of football team of Ayurveda College.
