Intense oranges formed several tornadoes in west central Minnesota on Wednesday, which destroyed farms and claimed a man’s life. According to the Washington Post, three farms were damaged or destroyed around Dalton and Ashby, a community 270 kilometers northwest of Minneapolis.
A farmer who was repairing a tractor under a Battle Lake shed died. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that two residents had been transferred to hospitals.
“The tornado of the year”
Tornado hunters – a popular discipline in the United States – have called one of them “tornado of the year”, as impressive as it was. According to them, the tourbillon measured more than 3 meters in diameter. The images are spectacular. Meteorologists and spectators flooded social networks with photos and videos on which we can see the power of the phenomenon. According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, the damage zone extends 10 to 15 kilometers east of Dalton.

Incredible day to put it mildly! I took my 100th #tornado near Dalton, Minnesota. Slow and well-behaved movements that we have been able to drive up to it. # mnwx # stormchasing with @ _TwisterSisterspic.twitter.com / 5pa78JxW2o
