The British Daily Mail reported on the 3rd (local time) that a bundle of cash was poured into the middle of a highway in the United States and that the middle of the highway became a mess with drivers trying to pick it up.
According to reports, on the 29th of last month at 3:45 pm on Interstate 71 in Warren County, Ohio, USA, a bundle of cash of unknown origin poured onto the road.
In the video, people who saw it stopped their cars in the middle of the highway and hurriedly collected money. The roads were paralyzed in an instant as cars stopped suddenly and people collected money, causing extreme traffic jams.
The police, who were dispatched after receiving a report that money was flying on the highway, closed the road for about an hour and began to deal with the situation.
Two citizens were arrested on the spot for illegally stopping the car and collecting money. The police are currently looking for other citizens who have picked up the money based on the video taken at the scene.
How the money was spread across the highway and the exact amount remains unclear.
Some witnesses told the police that “a mysterious vehicle threw a backpack full of banknotes out onto the highway.”
Based on the evidence, the police are looking for the source of the money by checking CCTV (closed circuit screen). A police official said, “It is not yet confirmed whether the bills are fake or not.”
