Team India is preparing for the Twenty20 World Cup which starts next month. The team is currently playing a series against Australia before the World Cup. India are playing a three-match Twenty20 series against Australia.

After 2013, the Indian team could not win a single ICC title. This time India is coming to change that bad name. But the team’s recent performance has not been encouraging. The team performs poorly in the Asia Cup and the ongoing Aussie series.

The Indian team, which was eliminated in the Super Four in the Asia Cup, also lost the first match against Australia. A poor bowling performance is the area where the team needs to work the most. Former Indian batsman Akash Chopra has said that if India go this way, they will not win the World Cup.

He says that Indian bowling is very weak and this performance of the bowlers is not enough to win the World Cup. Chopra also said that Chahal does not take wickets.

‘UC Chahal bowling fast. He cannot take wickets unless he bowls slowly. India have a weak bowling line-up. You cannot win the World Cup with such bowlers. You have to win the remaining matches against Australia. Otherwise, you lose the series against a team without four key players,” Chopra said.

Playing with an aggressive approach from the start, India scored 208 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted overs. Hardik Pandya finally took the baton left by captain Rohit Sharma.
