With Apple Pencil and Scribble, users should write handwritten notes in a text field, which are then converted into typed text. This can in turn be copied and pasted into another document.
If you write down handwritten data such as telephone numbers or addresses on the iPad, they will be recognized as such and can be called or displayed in the map app.
At the start of iOS 14, however, the scribble function should only be available for English and Chinese. Apple has not yet revealed how long we have to wait here in Germany.
Other innovations in iPadOS 14 include an improved AR kit, more transparent data protection functions and an improved map app.
