According to MBN on the 22nd, on the night of the 12th, in front of an apartment complex in Hawolgok-dong, Seoul, a lighting crane for the shooting of the Netflix movie production company appeared. Residents have complained about the right to sleep as the crane emits powerful lights all night long.

A resident of the apartment complex explained the situation at the time, saying, “The inside of the house was bright like broad daylight.”

Another apartment resident complained, “If I had asked for your understanding in advance, I would have thought ‘You were filming’, but there was no such thing.”

The filming location was a government-run research complex. Because the research complex gave permission for filming, the police could not stop it. Complaints poured in to the police, but filming continued until around midnight.

In this regard, the research complex explained that they did not know that even a lighting crane would be mobilized. An official from the filming location said, “We were about to film, so equipment such as a crane came.”

When the controversy broke out, Netflix explained, “I didn’t think that it would cause damage to residential areas, so I couldn’t ask for cooperation.”
