job offer; Taken in a beggar’s gang: cruel torture; The sight has gone Delhi | Bihar | India News | National News

Six months ago, Suresh Manchi, a 26-year-old man who had gone to Delhi to work from Bihar, returned blind. There are countless wounds all over the body. The young man approached the group of beggars claiming to be working. They injected chemicals into Suresh’s eyes and stole his sight.

Suresh lived with his elder brother in Ravindra Nagar, Nowbasta. When a man named Vijay arrived offering a better job, she accompanied him to a woman’s house in Jhakarkatti district. There he was tortured and physically blinded as chemicals were poured into his eyes. Suresh was later sold to Delhi’s begging mafia boss, Raj.

According to Suresh, they stamped his body with an iron rod and injected him with drugs. The mafia threatened not to give food unless they begged. As the amount of intoxication in the body increased, the health condition worsened. With this, Raj sent himself back to Kanpur along with Vijay.

He was kept in Kidwainagar and forced to beg again. Suresh revealed that he escaped from there on Thursday. On Suresh’s complaint, the police registered a case against 3 people, including a woman. Police said Suresh has still not recovered from the ordeal. Suresh is with his brother right now.
