KOSPI rises slightly… Naver, Kakao 52 week low

Despite the strong US stock market, the KOSPI index did not sustain the early market gains until the end of the trading session and closed the trade with a slight uptrend.

The index recorded a strong upward trend amid institutional selling, and the KOSDAQ, unlike the KOSPI, refused to go down and continued selling by foreigners and institutions, breaking the 690 line and producing a correction of more than 1% .

Today, the KOSPI closed at 2,215.22 points, up 5.84 points since yesterday, and the KOSDAQ closed at 685.34 points, down 11.45 points.

Looking at the trading trends by investment entity, the KOSPI market recorded sales by institutions only.

Looking at the top stocks by market capitalization, Hyundai Mobis continued its bullish trend for two consecutive days amid hopes of benefiting from a strong dollar while it closed mixed, and rose for the third consecutive trading day as it was anticipated that Hanwha Solutions would improve solar profits by expanding production facilities in the United States.

On the other hand, Naver fell more than 7%, breaking the 52-week low again, and Kakao also recorded a 52-week low due to a bearish trend.

In addition, Hyundai Motor closed the deal weakly amid concerns about a contraction in demand as the US government’s blow to the anti-inflation law became a reality due to a drop in sales of electric vehicles.

By sector, the service sector fell the most in the KOSPI market, while the electrical and electronic sector showed strength.

The won-dollar exchange rate closed today at 1,410.1 won, down 16.4 won.

Until now, it was Samsung Securities.
