Barbora Krejčíková defeated her traditional doubles partner Kateřina Siniaková 6: 3, 6: 4 in the finals of the tennis exhibition in Staré Splavy and defended last year’s title from the classic tournament. The men’s final was not played at the Macha Lake Open in Doksy. The biggest favorite, Lukáš Rosol, did not start the decisive duel due to a leg injury, and another Davis Cup representative, Jonáš Forejtek, rejoiced in the championship without a fight.
Krejčíková and Siniaková won two grand slam titles together and were world number one doubles, in the adult singles they met for the first time. The culmination of the tournament was interrupted twice in the second set due to rain, and the 115th player of the world, Krejčíková, took her favorite opponents (54th in the rankings) each time after the break.
Forejtek and Krejčíková received 150,000 crowns from the total subsidy of almost one million.
