Logan Sargent picks “2” for fixed car number of F1 career[F1-Gate.com]

Logan Sargent has chosen “2” as the fixed car number to use in his F1 career starting with Williams from 2023.

25-year-old Logan Sargent, who fulfilled the conditions of the F1 Super License by finishing fourth in the FIA-F2 Championship this season, the highest rookie, will be the first American F1 driver since 2015 to join Williams in 2023. Makes F1 debut .

Since 2014, all drivers will have to choose a race number to use throughout their F1 career. Logan Sargent chose to run No.2

“I had that number before in Formula Renault and had a pretty good season that year,” explained Logan Sargent.

“The number three is my number, but it was taken, so I thought why not use my past winning number in F1.”

In the Formula Renault Eurocup 2018 above, Logan Sargent took three wins and finished 3rd in position before stepping up to FIA-F2.
