Torture case against Binoy Kodiyeri settled. According to the settlement agreement, Rs 80 lakh was paid for the future of the child. Bobe High Court closed the case after both sides agreed to complete the legal steps. Both sides were already ready to end the case, but the dispute over the terms has dragged things on for so long. But the agreement says nothing about the paternity of the child.

Kozhikode: Pantirangaon police have filed a case against two persons who are known to have been involved in sexually assaulting young actresses who had come to a film promotional event. The case was taken up after recording the detailed statements of the two actresses. The police instructed the organizers to produce all the footage shot during the event

The state government’s order for further action based on the central order banning the Popular Front of India will be issued today. The file of the order was given yesterday by the home department to be approved by the prime minister. After the government order is released, the DGP will publish a circular related to the actions of the police.
