If you had the guts to go to the stores on weekends, you probably risked having to queue outside in the rain.
But we humans are not the only ones who braved the elements, as discovered by a Morrisons buyer’s dog when he was left outside while his owner was picking up groceries .
But the Golden Retriever, which was photographed on Sunday outside Morrisons in Giffnock, Scotland, quickly became viral after the supermarket security guard intervened with an umbrella to keep the dog dry.
The comforting moment was captured by Twitter user Mel Gracie, who shared it online for everyone to see.
Subtitled the tweet, the social media user wrote: “Shout at this @Morrisons security man keeping this good boy dry.
“He said,” Well, you never know what the dogs think of the rain. “”
The Post has since received more than 80,000 likes and 11,000 retweets, and people have praised the online security guard for his kindness – some even asking him to get a raise – according to the Daily recording.
One person replied, “It’s amazing. The guy was like” I don’t mind the rain … but the dog may not want it “”
Another added: “Some heroes wear high visibility jackets.”
Someone else sprang up: “Simply magnificent … this man deserves a raise.”
“This is what I needed to see today. Give this man a raise !!” says someone else.
“This man deserves a real medal. The person who went to the store left his own dog in the rain … good for him, he is an angel from above,” said another.
Morrisons replied to the tweet by writing: “Adorable!”
That’s what you call good customer service.
