Neeraj Chopra close to medal; In the final, he threw 88.39 meters in his first attempt

Eugene: India’s medal hope Neeraj Chopra in the javelin throw at the World Athletics Championships final. Neeraj Chopra cleared 88.39 meters in his first attempt to secure his place in the final.

The medal round in this event is on Sunday. Sports enthusiasts were waiting for Neeraj Chopra to reach the 90m World Championship. Neeraj had won gold and a national record by throwing 89.94 meters in the Diamond League.

Neeraj Chopra’s throw of 89.94m was the third best javelin throw this year in the Diamond League. A distance of 86.65 meters was required to qualify for the final round at the World Athletics Championships. Neeraj did it easily.
