The Gelderland municipality of Nunspeet will have a meter and a half meter coach. The city on the Veluwe has been hit relatively hard by the corona virus. The municipality hopes to get the economy going again soon with a special official who can help entrepreneurs with advice about a restart in corona times.
Councilor Marije Storteboom writes this on the website of the municipality. Nunspeet is largely dependent on tourism and recreation.
“We always try to be prepared for the developments and we try to work with the entrepreneurs on the new normal,” explains Storteboom at Omroep Gelderland.
Natascha Ouwehand, the first one and a half meter coach in the Netherlands, will not check or fine. But she will mainly give tips to entrepreneurs and think along about what is possible within all the restrictions that currently apply and in the future.
The cabinet previously stated that entrepreneurs should try to find out at local level how they can shape their profession in the one and a half meter society.
