A manhunt was underway Oklahoma On Monday morning for an “armed and dangerous” suspect, police said that they had shot two police officers during a traffic stop.
The shooter, identified by Tulsa Police like David Ware, “fired a gun at the officers and fired several times.” The officers are now in critical condition and are undergoing surgery, while Ware fled east of Tulsa on foot, the department added.

The ministry also said Fox 23 that one of the police officers struck had graduated from the police academy in the past year, while the other was a sergeant.
Police said Ware was arrested at around 3:30 a.m. local time, and the shooting took place after he and the police fought.
