muscat: Oman with long-term visa for investors. An official spokesperson said applications for the post would be accepted through the ministry’s e-investment services from October 3.
The new decision will allow those interested in investing in Oman to be issued a visa valid for five to 10 years.
Oman’s Vision 2040 (Vision 2040Khalid Al-Shuaibi, an adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, said the new plan was aimed at increasing investment and job creation in line with the country’s economic growth.
MA Yousafzai, Chairman of the Lulu Group and Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, has been granted the first Oman Long-Term Residence Visa as part of the Long-Term Residence Visa Scheme. As part of the decision, 22 NRI investors from different countries were honored with long-term visas in the first phase of the scheme.
