ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is the world’s biggest liar. He also accused the head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf of ruining the country’s economy.
His response was in an interview given to the British newspaper The Guardian. Citing the Cipher audio leak, Shahbaz Sharif said it is an undeniable truth that Imran Khan is the world’s biggest liar. In April, the PTI had claimed that the cipher issue was central to the removal of Imran Khan from the post of Prime Minister.
“I am not saying this with joy but with shame and concern. The lies told for personal interest have ruined the image of my country. His policies have ruined the country’s economy,” said Sharif in an interview. He also accused Imran Khan of injecting poison into society to polarize voters after he was ousted in a no-confidence vote in April.
