As in the previous week, promotions start again this week, during which you can test or play games for free.
If you have to crouch in your home for corona-related reasons, you need employment. What could be more useful than starting up the PC or console and working through the “Pile of Shame”. Or you can dedicate yourself to the titles that are currently playable for free. Like last week, we are putting together an overview of all the promotions and free games you can find this week. Of course, the overview is filled up until the weekend as soon as we discover something.
The Elder Scrolls Online
Bethesda’s MMORPG celebrates her birthday and makes it sound great. From April 1 at 4 p.m. to April 13, the main game The Elder Scrolls Online is free to play on PC via ESO Launcher, PS4 and Xbox One. If you own the game on Steam, you can only enjoy it from April 1st to April 6th. If you also want to gamble, you can purchase games and extensions in the next few days with sometimes heavy discounts (Test for the last add-on The Elder Scolles Online: Elsweyr on Gameswelt).
Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Ubisoft is still trying to get players to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint after the last big one Deepstate update to make tasty. As of today there is a six-hour free trial on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, meaning you can play the game for six hours free of charge on the basis of a corresponding free trial version. Scores will be taken over if you then want to buy the game. There is also a Friend Pass, which allows you to invite up to three friends for co-op sessions without having to own the game. This does not reduce the six-hour phase. This promotion is scheduled to run until June 16 (Test for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint on game world).
On April 7th, the closed beta of Valorant, the new tactical shooter from the developers of League of Legends, starts. Selected players from Europe, Canada, Russia, Turkey and the United States can participate in this first beta phase. How you can get into the closed beta, you can in our news read – unfortunately just jumping in is not possible.
Ubisoft plans to launch discounts, trial versions and other offers continuously in April as part of a promotion. It starts with the Jump’n’Run Rayman Legends, which you can download free of charge until April 3rd on Uplay and add permanently to your library. Thanks to the co-op mode, you can also have fun with roommates or family. Definitely worth it, the game is a real gem (Rayman Legends – test on games world).
Xbox Live – Games With Gold
As usual, you can also play some free games on Xbox One, provided you have Xbox Live Gold. In April there are four titles available, namely the racing simulation Project CARS 2 (until April 30th) and Fable Anniversary (until April 15th). Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle and Toybox Turbos will follow from April 16-30.
