A new Pokemon sword and shield The trailer released Thursday gives players more information on the new Gigantamax forms coming in Gen 8 games with the release of the first DLC.
The Gigantamax forms of your fully evolved Pokémon Starter – Rillaboom, Cinderace and Inteleon – were previously announced as part of the first Sword and shield DLC in June. However, more information on these new forms has just been revealed.
Before diving, check the last Pokemon sword and shield Expansion Pass trailer below.
First we have Gigantamax Rillaboom who knows G-Max Drum Solo. If your Rillaboom experiences a Grass attack, it will trigger this powerful movement. The attack ignores your opponent’s abilities, as he is able to attack Shedinja with a non-super-efficient movement.
Gigantamax Cinderace learns G-Max Fireball when it experiences a Fire attack. Here is the official summary of the move:
“G-Max Fireball is an extremely powerful movement where Cinderella will use her strong legs to throw a gigantic fireball at the opponent, causing an explosion when the fireball strikes! This movement is more powerful than other Max Moves and can also ignore the effects of the target’s ability. “
Inteleon’s Gigantamax form gives it a G-Max hydrosnipe when it experiences a Water attack. Here is the official summary of the new G-Max attack:
“G-Max Hydrosnipe is a movement with an extremely high power. Inteleon will aim from the top of its imposing tail, collecting water at the tip of its finger before projecting it on the opponent. The water is launched with a force and a speed such that it causes a huge explosion when it strikes and gives a punch more important than the other Max Moves! This movement also ignores the effects of the ability of the target. “
The Sword and Shield expansion pass also adds more training outfits and league cards for players who want even more personalization in their Pokemon Game. The trailer shows outfits that look like President Rose, Marnie, Beedie and Team Yell.
And finally, the first gameplay of Kubfu, the new Mythical Pokémon that was revealed at the same time as the Expansion Pass announcement earlier in the year, was released.
Fans see Kubfu interact with Mustard, a new NPC who will help you on your journey to the Isle of Armor DLC. We see Kubfu using different Combat attacks like Rock Smash and even evolving into Urshifu.
Kubfu can evolve towards one of the two forms of Urshifu according to the choice of a trainer. In Armor Island, players will receive permission to challenge towers with two fists. Once one of the two towers conquered, Kubfu will evolve into Urshifu. The tower you choose will determine the evolution of Kubfu.
the Pokemon sword Expansion card and Pokemon shield Expansion Pass Part 1 – The Isle of Armor will be launched in late June. Additional information on the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and the Pokémon Shield Part 2 – Crown Tundra Shield Expansion Pass will be revealed in the future.
Pokemon sword and shield are now available for Nintendo Switch.
