EYE UNITED SHAKE-UP ATTACK
Manchester United have been heavily criticized for their lack of movement on the player market as close rivals continue to bolster their roster.
The market will close in less than a week and United will have one big name signed with Donny van de Beek concluded by Ajax earlier this month.
United officially played $ 164 million against Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, but was dismissed.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham all left United behind with a strong transfer window strategy that saw them active in strengthening their teams.
However, the Red Devils may be in the process of making a breakthrough HOW reporting being in negotiations to sign Edinson Cavani on a free transfer.
They are also believed to be looking at Luka Jovic on loan as another alternative as they look for ways to trigger their attack.
“Having taken Van de Beek from Ajax in midfield, Manchester United are looking for a striker to reinforce the attacking department,” said transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio.
Ongoing contacts with Edinson Cavani, who left Paris Saint Germain and very close to Benfica in recent weeks.
Jovic also asked Real Madrid. The ballot is open.
“The management of the English club will try to sign one of the two players in the last week of negotiations”.
SCRAMBOLO OF THE CITY TO SOLVE DEFENSIVE DEFENSIVE DEFENSE
Pep Guardiola may have many defenders in his books, but there is reportedly room for one more, on one condition.
Second TimesManchester City are watching Bayern Munich star David Alaba, but only if he manages to dump Oleksandr Zinchenko before the transfer window closes.
While City have signed a lot of defenders, Guardiola doesn’t seem to get the right result as Leicester scored five goals in a defeat over the weekend.
Defensive shortcomings reportedly have Guardiola looking for extra cover but the problem is that like all other teams, he has less than a week to fix it.
Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico would also be of interest to City, but again any potential move hinges on Zinchenko’s future.
The 23-year-old joined City in 2016 and his versatility has been of great use ever since, replacing Benjamin Mendy as a left-back while he’s also considered a midfielder.
He has yet to play this season due to a muscle injury and only managed to burn out for half of City’s Premier League games last year.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Zinchenko has been offered to Barcelona but the negotiations have not started.
If the City is desperate for Alaba or Tagliafico, it will need them to move faster.
ARSENAL DEFENDER IN EXIT
Sead Kolasinac is close to confirming his exit from Arsenal in view of a return to the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
He joined the Gunners on a free transfer after a seven-year stint with Schalke, where he played 123 games.
SPORT Bild reports that the 27-year-old is approaching for the move to Leverkusen and that confirmation is imminent.
Kolasinac is believed to want to return to Germany for family reasons.
Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz previously spoke of his desire to chase another left-handed defender at the club.
“We have six central defenders,” Bosz said Buli News.
“All six of those defenders have right feet.”
It will be a welcome opportunity for Kolasinac, who has no regular playing time having fallen behind Kieran Tierney and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
