Nippon Professional Baseball, Nippon Ham, announced that a total of three people, including Atsunori Inaba’s general manager and two players, have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus. A total of 33 people were confirmed to be infected with Nippon-Ham from the 16th to the 24th of this month.

According to Nippon-Ham, as a result of a PCR test conducted by the 1st Army on the 24th, infections were confirmed for a total of three people, including Inaba General Manager, catcher Ryo Ishikawa, and outfielder Wang Po Jung.

Wang Po Jung has symptoms of fever, and Inaba General Manager and Ryo Ishikawa are asymptomatic.

Infections have been confirmed one after another at Nippon-Ham from the 16th of this month, and by the 24th, 33 people have been confirmed, including coach Tsuyoshi Shinjo, 8 coaches, and 16 athletes.
