Record Friday in view of the cold front on Sunday with a drop of 30 degrees

DENVER (KDVR) – Today we will draw or set another record. It’s going to be 91 degrees in Denver. The record is 91 degrees set in 1998. This would be our 76th trip in the 90s this year (a record).

It will be an otherwise dry day across Colorado with light to moderate smoke concentrations.

High risk of fires today and Saturday. Dry, warm and windy conditions across the mountains and hills.

Highest mountains in the 50s, 60s and 70s today and Saturday.

Saturday in Denver we could tie / set another record. The record is 90 degrees set in 2010.

A strong cold front comes around 10am on Sunday. On Sunday we will set an initial high of 61 degrees, then temperatures will drop to 50 degrees. 20% chance of rain. Partly cloudy.

Broncos Game Prediction: Cloudy skies, some spray, gusts of wind and temperatures dropping in the 1950s. Get a warm sweater and jacket.
